Novus Media, a division of Novus Holdings, publishes 21 local news titles across the Cape Peninsula, Boland, Eastern Cape, Free State, and Northern Cape regions, with a total weekly reach of almost 4 million readers in both print and online formats.
Our mission is to foster a sustainable local news media business that connects communities and advertisers. While our print community newspapers continue to deliver relevant, local, quality news, we are innovatively utilising tailored digital platforms to ensure optimal reach for advertising and news content.

What is Novus Holdings and Novus Media?
Operating for more than a century, Novus Holdings, listed on the JSE, is one of Southern Africa’s largest companies in the fields of print, publishing, and packaging manufacturing. Led by CEO André van der Veen, Novus provides extensive solutions for short, medium, and long-run print needs, including magazines, retail inserts, catalogues, books, newspapers, educational materials, and security products. The company also specialises in flexible plastic and sustainable paper packaging, in addition to security products and labels.
