The woman, who has been identified as Vanessa Van Rensburg from Gqeberha, was found dead at her 58-year-old boyfriend’s holiday home in Oyster Bay on April 20.
According to police spokesperson Captain Marius McCarthy, SAPS responded to a complaint on April 20 at about 01:45 in Oyster Bay.
“Upon arrival at the scene, members found a 36-year-old woman lying on the floor. She had bruises on her body and was declared dead on the scene by EMS,” said McCarthy.
He confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, despite no arrests being made at this time.
